Then stick around to preview Glassphemy! Part game, part art installation, Glassphemy is a multi-sensory recycling center inspired by a Community Design Collaborative charrette and developed by Macro-Sea. The 20-by-30 steel structure lined with bullet-proof glass lets you throw bottles at a friend (or enemy) without repercussions! Bottles for tossing are available at the door for a donation of $5 each or $25 for a six-pack.
Design professionals who have volunteered on a Collaborative project between 2005 and 2010 get to throw one bottle for free! Proceeds from the bottles you do buy will benefit the Community Design Collaborative, InLiquid, Kensington South Neighborhood Advisory Council and New Kensington Community Development Corporation.
