Park(ing) Day After-Party 9/21/2012

  • Park(ing) Day in the City of Brotherly Love: 50+ parklets are expected this year. Photo Credit: fivenonblondes

Park(ing) Day is an international event when metered parking spaces are transformed into temporary green spaces in cities around the world. A record crop of over 50 parklets will pop up throughout the city on Friday, September 21, Philadelphia's fifth Park(ing) Day!

Build (or just visit) Philly's parklets, then join us for an after-party on September 21 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Center for Architecture, 1218 Arch Street  to share a beer, photos, and stories from the day.

Hosted by Community Design Collaborative, Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, Philadelphia Water Department and Mayor's Office of Transportation and Utilities. RSVP.
