Amplifying the Impact of Mariposa

  • 09 18 mariposa section 600x300

Section for the Mariposa's proposed food co-op from our conceptual design and feasibility study.GRID magazine revisited Mariposa Food Co-op  in its February issue to report on the impact of its expansion on the co-op and the community.Jon McGoran of GRID writes that the University City-based co-op "quintupled in square footage, tripled their staff, doubled their membership and quadrupled their sales. But perhaps the most important expansion was their involvement in the community."

In 2009, the Collaborative lined up Re:Vision Architecture to look at the fit between Mariposa's long range plans and its proposed new location, a former bank building a block away owned by Beulah Tabernacle Church. Re:Vision continued on the project as Mariposa's design consultant.
