Destined for Frankford

We're working on three projects in Frankford!

The Collaborative will be directing its design talent to Paul Street, a neighborhood commercial street that branches off Frankford Avenue near the Margaret/Orthodox El Station. The 4600 block of Paul Street is the focus of Destination Frankford, an arts-based initiative supported by ArtPlace America that is using marketing and creative placemaking to enhance and expand the resources of the Frankford's growing arts, artisanal industry, and creative business economy.

Our design work will extend Destination Frankford's efforts to enliven Paul Street and forge a stronger link between Frankford Avenue and local creative economy destinations like Globe Dye Works. We'll be designing a temporary pop-up park, generating ideas for the streetscape, and consulting with business owners on storefront facade improvements.

Our design work will continue the momentum of Destination Frankford. But things are already rolling on Paul Street with gallery shows featuring the Dumpster Divers, various River Ward photographers, and the Philadelphia Sculptors.
