Happy trails (and parks)! The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has announced grants for nine Philly open space projects, including $300,000 for Columbus Square Park and $388,000 for Markward Playground. Design Grants from the Collaborative helped the Columbus Square Park Advisory Council and Friends of Schuylkill River Park build consensus compelling pitches for improvements.
