Sacred Places/Civic Spaces brought together three congregations, three community organizations, and three design teams to re-envision historic purpose-built religious properties as community hubs. This capstone exhibition created by the Community Design Collaborative and Partners for Sacred Places celebrates the rich history of these sacred places, chronicles our community engagement, and presents the innovative designs that resulted from the collaborations. Get inspired about the possibilities for the sacred places in your neighborhood and tell us what civic space means to you.
Free and open to the public at the Center for Architecture and Design, 1218 Arch Street,
Monday through Friday from 9am - 5pm.
