People's Emergency Center

The Collaborative produced a “look book” of streetscape and storefront improvements and a to-do list organized by least-cost, medium-cost, and most-cost strategies to reclaim the intersection of 41st and Lancaster as a community hub. Our conceptual design work supported the principles of the Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design program, a multi-disciplinary approach to deterring criminal behavior through environmental design. It provides a step by step strategy to transform this key intersection in a Promise Zone Initiative neighborhood.
