Open Space

Old City Green

Old City Green (OCG) leads greening and public space improvement projects in the Old City neighborhood. The Collaborative awarded OCG a design grant to re-establish and revitalize a pedestrian walkway as a safe passage, passive recreation space, and connector between historic sites. The conceptual design focuses on repairing and replacing existing hardscape, benches, and lighting. It also proposes new plantings and the reconfiguration of a retaining wall to improve sight lines and screen views of an adjacent parking lot.
