Friends of Concert Garden

The Neighborhood Gardens Trust asked the Collaborative to redesign the Concert Garden, a small sitting garden in Point Breeze. The garden’s volunteer stewardship committee and the larger community provided feedback on their favorite elements of the existing garden and the future program mix. The conceptual design preserves the garden’s memorial mural, lawn, and large Zelkova tree. It also provides a reconfigured stage, a brick plaza, and flexible seating to sustain old favorites like movie night and introduce new activities like story time and play.
