Open Space

The Waldorf School of Philadelphia

The Collaborative’s volunteer team created a campus plan for The Waldorf School of Philadelphia’s new home in Germantown. Multi-purpose outdoor spaces integrated with the Waldorf curriculum are proposed for the site, including class and community gardens in the sunniest corner of the site and engaging places for natural play—a mud pit, loose parts play, and climbable netting leading to a tree house.
