A co-ed, college prep Catholic high school in South Philadelphia wants to create a warmer, more welcoming entrance, use extra space in its cafeteria as a student lounge, and transform a former library into a writing and project lab to meet contemporary student needs. The conceptual plan offers a strategy to phase in these new amenities and brings visual branding and green stormwater management practices onto campus.
Neumann Goretti’s entrance will come alive by removing the fence and adding rain gardens.
