Friends of Laurel Hill Cemetery

A Collaborative study outlines two options for redeveloping the existing gatehouse and nearby buildings and land as exhibition, research, and meeting space for Laurel Hill visitors and the surrounding community. Members of the Rittenhouse, Widener, Elkins, and Strawbridge families—and Civil War heroes too—are buried here. Improvements will help visitors delve into history and explore this serene National Register of Historic Places cemetery.
