Arcadia Commons

The Collaborative worked with the creators of a DIY neighborhood park and surrounding residents to envision a permanent community gathering place in East Kensington. Two sculptural sheet metal gates have laser-cut artwork and poetry to memorialize fallen firefighters. A circular lawn at the center is flanked by a performance stage with seating and a passive recreation area for bocce, barbecuing, and nature play.
