Collaborative volunteers worked with North Philadelphia Community Help (NPCH) and AMT Industry on a programming and feasibility study for a narrow site on West Lehigh Avenue in North Philadelphia. The mixed-use site would serve multiple needs in the neighborhood by including affordable housing units as well as flexible community space to host a workforce development program for sterilization technicians.

"I appreciated the chance to return to a Philadelphia neighborhood that I was already familiar with, but this time was able to see it from someone else's perpective- and it was like a brand new place."
"Design that is driven by community engagement helps to lead to places that are not only more inclusive and accessible to existing residents, but is also a way to promote greater civic engagement by giving people an active voice in the way their communities are shaped."
