Economic Development

Nueva Esperanza, Inc.

The Collaborative worked with six business owners along the Wyoming Avenue Commercial Corridor to come up with low cost, high-impact façade improvements. The goal was to balance good design principles with the owners’ desires to maintain business identity and create more inviting storefronts. The designs demonstrate how small-scale improvements like new lighting, more visible and attractive signage, and repairing and repainting façades can make a big difference.

"The most rewarding part of working on a project with the Collaborative is the reaction from the community when they realize that their dreams are possible."
