Christina Salehi

 “Thoughtful design doesn't take a lot of money to achieve big improvements.” 

2017 - Christina Dreibholz Salehi is an architect who has been drawn to projects that focus on placemaking. She says, “The quality of how we live our lives every day is hugely affected by our built environment. Thoughtful design doesn't take a lot of money to achieve big improvements.” Christina appreciates Philadelphia for “its long and layered history and amazing people that it attracts to it.” 

Christina was part of the volunteer team that received the Collaborative's 2016 Outstanding Team Award for exemplary interdisciplinary collaboration on streetscape improvements and public art for under SEPTA viaducts in North Central Philadelphia.
