Q. Why is design an important part of revitalizing communities?
Design can help open doors that many didn't even realize were there. It gets people talking that would otherwise not speak or have the chance to speak. Design forces action and in turn, revitalization, in communities via these diverse conversations.
Q. What has been most surprising, rewarding, or fun about your Collaborative experience?
More than anything, receiving an overwhelmingly grateful response from our client was more rewarding than I could have imagined. It is wonderful to work with people who appreciate the efforts of the team and want nothing more than to see the design realized.
Q. What do you love most about Philadelphia?
Philadelphia is a vibrant city with amazing diversity. It's identity speaks to that - and combined with its rich history makes it an extremely interesting place to live and work.
